Enterprise Edition
TheNoSpamZone’s basic service meets the needs of most small businesses because it provides excellent protection and is incredibly easy to use. Nevertheless, in order to address the special requirements of our larger corporate customers, TheNoSpamZone offers the Enterprise Edition which has more advanced features and options, as follows:
| End User Quarantine
- Users can sign up for quarantine service by visiting a URL and typing in their email address.
- Users can add additional email aliases to their quarantine service, making it easy to manage multiple email addresses with one login.
- Users can view email quarantined as spam that was sent to their addresses in a fast loading format that can be sorted on any column (date, subject, from, to, filter that identified the message, etc.) and is sanitized of images and link tracking.
- Users can delete messages, or with one click, have the message delivered instantly to their inbox.
- Users can disable spam filtering for their email addresses.
- Users can set up a daily report that is emailed to them that details the emails in their quarantine in an easily readable digest format in plain text, html, or in a spreadsheet.
- Users can have a password reminder sent to them without having to bother the administrator.
- The administrator can add and remove users from the quarantine service.

Domain Quarantine
- The administrator has the ability to view messages identified as spam and quarantined for all users at the domain in a fast loading format that can be sorted on any column (date, subject, from, to, filter that identified the message, etc.) and is sanitized of images and link tracking.
- The administrator can delete messages, or with one click, have the message delivered instantly to the intended recipient’s inbox.

Advanced Attachment Filtering
- In addition to removing attachments with specific filenames or extensions and replacing with a warning, you can have the email message itself be deleted or quarantined.

Outgoing e-mail Filtering
- You can monitor your network’s security by using TheNoSpamZone Message Submission Service to send any outgoing email. This unique service will filter and alert you via email on any spam or virus leaving your network.

Multiple Customers Mail servers
- If you have your email server mirrored for backup or have multiple email gateways, you can have TheNoSpamZone relay your email to additional locations depending on availability and priority (much like private MX Records).
| Quarantine Services
TheNoSpamZone's philosophy is that email should be spam-free and that we should not have to read through a quarantine folder to check for legitimate email. Other anti-spam products give a rating on how likely an email message is to be spam and they still force you to view the spam in order to make sure no good email was quarantined. Ultimately this does not really solve the problem of spam since time is still wasted reviewing the spam folder. TheNoSpamZone's approach is to use its industry leading accuracy to just reject the messages identified as spam. Because TheNoSpamZone's filters are so accurate, it can save you the time of reviewing the messages and looking for false positives (messages incorrectly identified as spam). Additionally, the sender is notified right away that the message was not delivered, and can follow up if necessary. This feature can reduce the damage caused by an actual false positive, although they are rare. Our experience shows that new users of TheNoSpamZone may not believe the accuracy claims right away and may want to view all messages identified as spam for some time after signing up. Therefore, although we do not believe a quarantine or spam folder is necessary, we have found that some organizations prefer having a method of reviewing spam. The Quarantine Service enables users to review email messages in their account which were filtered as spam by TheNoSpamZone. The way the service works is very simple. The user logs in to TheNoSpamZone using their email address as the login. Then, a randomly generated password is sent to the user's email address, which enables the user to access the quarantine area of their private account. The user is required to change the password the first time they log in for security purposes. Once logged in, users can perform various actions. |
Advanced Attachment Filtering
In additional to the Anti-Virus service, TheNoSpamZone offers Advanced Attachment Filtering. This feature is based on the filename or the file type extension of the attachment. TheNoSpamZone basic service allows you to remove all file attachments that meet a specific criteria, and have them replaced with a warning. This is useful for mitigating email-based virus attacks by removing all attachment types that are executable (such as .exe, .com, .scr).
In addition to replacing the file with a warning, Enterprise Edition users can select from our regular filter options and have the choice of REJECT, FORWARD, DELETE, and QUARANTINE. This allows for much more control by your administrator, who may want to review what is being blocked or what is being sent to the domain so that they can make changes or investigate any problems and enforce policy. Additionally, your organization may want to be able to block all zipped archive files (files ending in .zip), due to virus concerns, but still be able to receive zipped archive files from customers where they can be forwarded somewhere to be retrieved by a trained administrator. |
Outgoing Email Filtering
In an effort to assist our customers with their security needs, TheNoSpamZone offers outgoing email filtering. This service scans the users’ outgoing email and filters viruses and spam before being seamlessly sent on to the recipient. Spam and viruses are removed, and the administrator notified, thereby helping to monitor and enforce your network's security policies. This security tool prevents spam and viruses from being sent from your network, thus protecting your network and customers from virus proliferation and open relay concerns. |
Multiple Customer Mail Servers
The basic service of TheNoSpamZone adds a lot of redundancy and reliability to your email system by assigning multiple load balancers for your domain, which are located in multiple data centers in different geographic areas of the U.S.A. For most customers, who have just a single email server, signing up for TheNoSpamZone service increases the reliability of the customer's email system.
Some businesses have a backup email server, which is a mirror of the primary server, or have multiple email gateways (more than one public IP address for customer's email service, due to redundant Internet connectivity). In these instances, the customer would typically want mail to be delivered to the primary mail server first, and then any additional server, depending on availability. This is typically done with the MX records of a customer's domain name. The customer will not lose this functionality even after signing up for TheNoSpamZone service, because TheNoSpamZone allows the customer to specify multiple locations to receive email to the customer's domain with priorities.
